Slimtech Mauk

Lappata

Naturale - Sabbiata - Lappata

The historical designs of wood and stone finishing are rediscovered and revamped with Mauk, shifting the nature of Slimtech towards greater domesticity.

The central theme of this project is the idea of breaking the large tile (size 100×300 cm) and subsequently going beyond the squareness of the tile.

The square shape is abandoned, moving toward forms such as the triangle, the rhombus and the trapezium, which together with contrasting grouts create unusual and three-dimensional patterns
